NAEP TUDA Coordinator
During my time in Houston ISD, I have served as the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Trial Urban District (TUDA) Coordinator.
I have partnered with National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and Westat to analyze and report National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) results biannually. Houston ISD is one of only 26 districts in the US invited to participate and serving in this role includes participation in multiple Department of Education conferences related to statistical reporting.
School District Implementation Team (SOFG)
Certification required 40+ hours of cohort learning in addition to assignments and two in-person conference events. All training provided by Council of Greater City Schools (CGCS) and focused on the implementation of student-outcomes focused governance for school boards, as well as the ways school district staff can best support the efforts of improving student outcomes in large urban districts.
In addition, I am a certified in the principles of Lone Star Governance.
